Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has designed three special spiritual programmes for the systematic study and practice of Kadampa Buddhism that are especially suited to the modern world – the General Programme, the Foundation Programme and the Teacher Training Programme.

2010 Winter Term Dates:  16th Jan - 20th Feb.

General Programme

The General Programme provides a basic introduction to Buddhist view, meditation and practice. Each class is self contained and suitable for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.

Joyful Path of Good fortune

The Foundation Programme provides an opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of Buddhism through a systematic study of five subjects.

We are currently studying the book Joyful Path of Good Fortune. Please speak to the Education Programme Coordinator to enrol.

Classes are on Saturdays,
9-11am and 12am-2pm

Foundation Programme classes cancelled during term breaks. Classes will still run during TTP retreats.

Teacher Training Programme

Meaningful to Behold

The Teacher Training Programme is designed for people who wish to become authentic Dharma teachers. In addition to completing the study of twelve subjects of Sutra and Tantra, the students will complete a series of retreats, and observe the basic Buddhist precepts for keeping pure moral discipline.

At the moment we are studying the book Meaningful to Behold.

Classes are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening,
7.30-9pm

Teacher Training Programme classes are cancelled during TTP retreats and also some may be cancelled for Tsog Pujas. Classes are cancelled during term breaks.
