Weekly drop-in meditation classes – suitable for everyone. The classes are designed to give you the means to gain more inner peace and happiness in your daily life.
- Each class consists of guided meditations, a talk and discussion.
- Each class lasts approximately one and a half hours and is followed by refreshments.
- Each class is self-contained, though you are welcome to attend the whole course.
These meditation classes are suitable for everyone. They are taught by the resident teacher of KMC Nottingham, Gen Gakyi, and give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, how to start, maintain and improve a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes. The classes conclude with light refreshments afterwards. Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. See below for dates.
No special clothing is required with chairs and cushions provided for your comfort. Come along to any session, pre-booking is not required.
