Description

** NEW VENUE: Nettleham Community Hub ( in the studio at the back of the building)**

Join us on Wednesday evenings 7:30-8:30pm for an hour dedicated to finding happiness within.

“Problems, worry, pain and unhappiness are types of mind; they are feelings and do not exist outside the mind. If we cherish everyone we meet or think about, our mind will be at peace all the time so that we will be happy all the time..”

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (How to Transform Your Life)

In this five week course we will explore practical methods taught by Buddha to empower us both to make our minds peaceful and positive and bring real benefit everyone we meet.

25 Feb:  Why do we need to train in loving kindness to find peace of mind?

4 Mar: How can we develop a loving mind towards others?

11 Mar: How to feel close to everyone

18 Mar: Compassion – protection for our mind

25 Mar: Love

Each class is self-contained and on a drop-in basis, but attending the whole course may help in gaining a deeper understanding of the practice.

The classes are offered in-person on Wednesday evenings at the Nettleham Community Hub, 1 East St, LN2 2SL Cost £7 (free for members).

Booking not essential, payment can be made on arrival (cash or card).

EVERYONE WELCOME
